PROJECT MANAGER

She graduated in Geology with a Minor in Biology from the University of Coimbra in 2021, having deepened her knowledge of mineral resources and environmental geology during her Master's in Geology at the University of Porto between 2021 and 2023.

At the University of Porto, she participated as a research fellow in the Soil Health Surrounding project between 2022 and 2023 where she integrated her master's thesis whose objective was to infer concentrations and the distribution of heavy metal contamination in soils around an old abandoned Sb-Au mine in northern Portugal.

In 2023 she worked on a European project, S34I, where she analyzed the potential of research results derived from Earth Observation, collected and analyzed existing information on coastal marine resources in Spain as well as on seabed resources and, finally, applied sociological surveys to assess the perception of the effects of mining areas on coastal areas.

Between 2023 and 2024, she collaborated with Território XXI, a technical consultancy company in the field of land use planning, where she took part in drawing up technical reports on the National Ecological Reserve for various municipalities.

She is currently a member of the Mineral Resources Cluster team as Project Manager.
