MARBLE FASHION DESIGN
ABSTRACT
The MARBLE FASHION DESIGN project aims to develop actions for the international promotion of marble and companies in the Marbles Region that combine industry and design, essential to the affirmation of companies with major international brands and publishers of great prestige that use natural stone. With these planned international promotion actions, the aim is to improve the international recognition of the image of the Marbles Sector and its products.

STONERS by MARBLE FASHION DESIGN
FRAMEWORK
Natural stone, namely Portuguese marble, will be one of the great novelties of the 53rd edition of ModaLisboa | Lisboa Fashion Week | Spring / Summer 20.
On the one hand, several marble slabs will be integrated in an exhibition and interactive light space, during the next Spring Summer SS20 edition of Lisboa Fashion Week on October 11, 12 and 13, 2019, with the aim of bringing visitors closer to the event relating to Portuguese stone in an experience of Virtual Reality in an exhibition context. This space will also be the stage to activate our brand that evokes a global community - the Stoners.
On the other hand, marble will be the focus of the production of a fashion collection presented in a haute couture fashion show to be included in the official ModaLisboa calendar. Currently, several fashion articles are in production. In total, 30 complete coordinates will be presented in the fashion show, which therefore includes 30 complete looks of clothing, footwear and fashion accessories, making the distinctive properties of marble known and bringing the natural stone industry closer to the world of fashion.

The event featured the presentation of the STONERS collection at the 53rd Edition ModaLisboa | Lisboa Fashion Week that took place on October 11, 2019, at 9:00 pm at the Mercado de Stª Clara, in Lisbon.
