This is the first professional course in secondary education focused on training technicians able to face the current challenges of the natural stone market and is the result of a partnership between Stone Citi and the EBS Dr. Rui Grácio School in Montelavar, Sintra.
The course is aimed at students who have finished 9th grade and who are interested or curious about the natural stone sector, providing an opportunity to innovate in a sector with a long history in Portugal. Upon entering the course, they can count on the acquisition of knowledge in the following areas:
natural stone and its entire value chain, from the extraction process to its multiple applications;
equipment and new technologies used in the sector;
complementary areas such as computer aided design and 3D printing.
The course lasts for 3 years and has a curricular internship in a business context.
